Joy to the World!

I wanted to use some of my Christmas stash that I have not had a chance to use much or at all.  I chose the round ornament from the Stampin' Up Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and stamped it Versamark Ink.  I embossed it with white embossing powder and die-cutting it with the coordinating Holiday Ornaments framelits from the 2012 Holiday catalog.  Using the music paper from the Natural Composition Speciality paper (retired SU dsp from the 2013-14 Annual catalog), I die-cut a window out using the third largest Deco Labels framelit and backed it with a layer of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  My embossed ornament would hang from within this window.  My sentiment Joy to the World is also retired from the 2013 Holiday catalog.  All in all, I felt I got great use of products that had been collecting dust in my Christmas cardmaking stash of goodies.

Following is a picture of the card's completed inside that I created to coordinate with the front design.  I made use of my computer to compose the Christmas verse using the CAC Champagne font.

Recipe:  SU papers:  Early Espresso cs, Cherry Cobbler cs, Crumb Cake cs, Very Vanilla cs, Natural Composition Speciality dsp.  Recollections Glitter Stack.  SU stamps:  Joy to the World (2013 Holiday), Ornament Keepsakes (2012 Holiday).  SU Ink:  Chocolate Chip.  SU framelits:  Holiday Ornaments (2012 Holiday), Deco Labels.  Recollections punches:  Snowflake Mini, Snowflake Small.  Other: Offray ribbon; White Embossing Powder.
