This Christmas card is a simple one, using some of my oldest Christmas paper stash, and basically just making several layers to add more color and to liven it up. I used several patterned papers from a complimentary paper line and cut some of the Christmas trees from the background paper to form the tree embellishments popped off the sentiment block. This was a very easy card to make, but I think it turned out nice. I should try to make "simple" more often, especially when I'm under a time crunch!
Following is a look at my card's interior, which was created to compliment the front design. I composed my verse, using my computer. I chose the Amatic font for the verse, and Chopin for Merry Christmas.
Recipe: SU cardstocks: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer. BoBunny Double Dot: Kiwi, Frost Dot. Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon. Martha Stewart Aspen Corner punch (snowflakes). EK Scallop Corner punch. Recollection Bitty rhinestones. Colorbox Chestnut Roam distress ink.
A very nice card Carlene, love the colors and beautiful sentiment on the inside.
