This snowflake Christmas Wishes card was inspired by one made at Liz Thayer's 2014 Totally Lovin' Christmas camp. I decided to make my version of one of the very feminine cards, and I had my mother in mind as I worked. Mine would be larger than the original, though I stayed with the pink theme as I loved the look of it. Following are the changes and tweaks I made to the original design.
The pink snowflake section of my card is a bit wider, but I kept the cursive writing section the same as the original. I also added more underlying layers with a Basic Gray cardbase added and additional layers in Natural Ivory and Silver Glimmer cardstocks. In addition, I added a Basic Gray scalloped layer to my Christmas sentiment, dropping it and the bow a bit lower on my card.
I thank Liz for her idea and hope she would approve of my "tweaked" version of her design that retains the look and flavor of the original.
Below is the view of my interior of this card, which I created to compliment the front design, topping it off with my little Christmas verse completed on the computer.
